API CJ-4 Diesel Engine Oil

The API CJ-4 specification was introduced by American Petroleum Institute (API) in 2006, the spec is for high speed diesel / 4 stroke engines, specifically introduced to meet the exhaust regulations in America for 2007. Oils that meet this specification are for diesel fuels with sulphur content up to 500ppm (0.05% by weight). These oils can generally be using in conjunction with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), but always consult your handbook. API CJ-4 is backwardly compatible so you can use this specification instead of API CF-4, API CF, API AH-4 and API CF, dependent on application.
